Jef can use both still and motion photography, edit the results using Photoshop or Showbiz. He can also create various images from scratch, including generating maps. Besides modifying or creating various images currently on the internet, Jef created all maps in the book, Hiking in Anza-Borrego: Over 100 Half-Day Hikes . He also has created maps related to a number of irrigation projects he has done. Here is a sampling of some of those maps:
